HERDING AND TRAINING FACILITY
We have many areas for training which include a 40 ft. round pen, 50'x50', 100'x100', 100' x 200', 151 x 239, 600' x 300' areas. We have stock for any level of training from beginner to advanced.
We offer a professional, adequately equipped training facility with sheep or ducks. Whether training for a trial or working stock on your farm, Christa is available to help.
Our facility is available for clubs or individuals to rent for trials, clinics, or seminars. Most AKC breeds are welcome for training and stock rental is available.
I have over 17 years stock experience and have trained different breeds (loose eye and eye) to advanced levels and championships on sheep, ducks and cattle.
Contact me to begin training with your dog. I'm available weekdays and most weekends. I am an AKC and AHBA approved judge.
Promise Pastures is located in north Louisiana at 299 Old Mineral Springs Road in Calhoun. Promise Pastures is owned by Christa Medaries, who not only trains and competes with her own dogs but offers lessons to those that share the passion of herding.
